Winter Melon

Ingredients
Winter melon 1 bulb
Taro 1
head
Shredded coconut 1 cup
Brown sugar ½ cup
Rice flour 1 cup
( Banana leaves and toothpicks for
wrapping )
Instruction
1.
Peel
the winter melon, then grate the flesh of the melon, after squeeze the water
out from the melon then take it aside.
2.
Peel the taro, then slice it into small
pieces, take it aside.
4.
Wrap
the mixture with the banana leave, and tighten with the toothpick.
5.
Steam
for 45 minute.
The
benefit
Winter melon helps to reduce the fever
and cholesterol in blood vessel. Vietnamese believe that when cooked with pork short ribs, the soup can help produce
more milk for breastfeeding mothers.
