Steamed fish egg in
banana wrap
Ingredients
Fish egg 1 cup
Fish 1 cup
Sweet basil ½ cup
Chopped green
onion ½ cup
Fish sauce ½ cup
Chili 5 peppers
Sliced
cabbage 1 cup
Lemongrass 2 sticks
Salt ½ cup
Fermented
fish sauce ½ cup
Preparation
1.
Pound chili with salt in a mortar well, and put
into a mixing bowl.
2.
Add fish egg, fish meat, green onion, sliced
cabbage.
3.
Add fish sauce, and fermented fish sauce, and
pounded lemongrass.
4.
Mix them well.
5.
Wrap the mixture with banana leaves.
6.
Steam the wraps for 30 minutes
7.
Serve the fish egg with steamed sticky rice.

Fish egg is
considered as luxurious seasonal food, it has high quality protein and easy to
digest.
